USE OF PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO IMAGES
Darwen Girls & Ladies Football Club openly encourages the use of photographic and video images to capture the enjoyment, achievement and diversity of our club. We also wish to keep these images to build up a archive of our history. But as we do this we are always mindful of our obligation to protect our members; therefore, we shall have set out this policy to protect and celebrate our members achievements. This policy is also in line with FA guidelines.
It is not illegal to take still or moving images if the landowner allows such activities.
Darwen Girls & Ladies Football Club will not allow any photographic equipment (including mobile phones with cameras) inside the changing rooms.
Permission must be sought from opposition parents and officials before any opposition player is photographed.
No child shall be photographed wearing less than a pair of shorts and vest.
No child shall be photographed where they fall into one of the following circumstances:
A child has been removed from his / her own family for their own safety.
Where restrictions on contact with one parent following a parental separation exists e.g. In cases of domestic violence;
In cases where a child might be a witness in a criminal proceeding
Other child protection concerns
Parental permission will be sought from all parents of Darwen Girls & Ladies Football Club members to have their images used.
Darwen Girls & ladies Football Club strive to ensure that no picture of a child will be published on the web site if that child is under care proceedings.
Photographs are to focus on the activity and not on the individual.
Photographs are to show the rich diversity of children we have within our club.
Darwen Girls & Ladies Football Club will not publish a photograph containing personnel details of the children shown.
Darwen Girls & Ladies Football Club will not use a photographic image for any other purpose than it was initially intended for without the full written consent of the child's parent.
Unlawful or inappropriate images of children within football can be reported to the FA or the Internet Watch Foundation at:
